Reasonably clean property with very friendly staff who have given a great deal of thought to creating an oasis of welcome and great service. High-class rooms and beautifully presented with a good sized bathroom as well as an equally huge.

Make sure you stay in the family king room with walk-in shower. The atmosphere of the hotel is lovely. Peaceful location not far from a major crossroad, in the Sedgemoor district on the River Axe and the garden of the New Inn across the street, it's central. Besides, a Cheddar reservoir is 15 minutes' drive away.

We enjoyed almost everything, had thoroughly enjoyable experience.

We had a soundproof family queen room with thoughtful extras such as plug covers. Very nice restaurant served homemade specialities.

The rooms were newly remodelled and top quality, had a great shower and two sinks. Btw, the airport was 20 km away.

Truly enjoyed our warm and hearty breakfast with juices and fresh products home made, for example. The location was best possible and the atmosphere was FAMILY. Also, the area was very nice.

Excellent place for a longer stay, has lovely view of the hills. The location it has near to near the southern edge of the Mendip Hills as well as the pub over the road for an evening meal is good. Also, it's located 5 km from a small river.

This was a memorable stay on our vacation. Individual and amazingly comfortable room with all the facilities, thoughtful extras, for example, the staff was great, whenever We needed help. There were a microwave, an electric kettle, and a refrigerator upon arrival.

I would recommend the place. Everything was first-class, welcoming service, magnificent location not far from Market Square, a lovely pub that serves amazing meals, and Axbridge, Wells, WSM and Cheddar. The staff was amiable, I stayed for 3 nights. I had outstanding food for breakfast with fresh products home made.

The location of this hotel was great, not far from the coast and close to Bristol airport. We enjoyed staying in the spacious and comfortable room with a modern bathroom. The service provided by the friendly hosts was excellent, and the breakfast selection was delicious, especially the homemade bread and jams. We also appreciated having access to a comfortable lounge with a wood burner. there was an excellent pub nearby where we enjoyed dinner.

That the bathroom was not en-suite, although it was directly opposite the bedroom door.

I stayed in a family room that was of excellent quality and had a top-notch bathroom equipped with a shower, hairdryer, and soft bath sheets.
